Market Update 4/24/23

Inventory is always an interesting topic of discussion in real estate.

Technically based upon all of the statistics, the highest inventory (in areas run in our search), in NW Indiana is in Lowell sitting at 2.88 months. This means that if no other homes come on the market, all of the inventory in Lowell would be gone in that amount of time.

Why does Lowell have high inventory? It is certainly not for lack of people moving there, but Lowell, similar to St. John, Cedar Lake & Valparaiso has an influx builder inventory that is helping with our #inventoryproblems in NW Indiana.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, for the last few months we have seen Highland and Griffith sit with the lowest inventory, but this week, Muster took the prize. This could be because of the lack in inventory, we are seeing people head other directions in their housing decisions.

THIS IS WHY IF YOU ARE THINKING OF SELLING THIS YEAR OR NEXT, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH YOU! DM me or call/text me at 630-251-0382!
