Every year for my kids birthdays, we try to plan fun outings that the kids will remember… and the thing is that so far they do remember! They mention the cool places we go throughout the year. This year, my oldest asked to go back to the place we went to last year for my middle guy’s birthday, which was the Indianapolis Childrens Museum.

It is such a cool spot with so many things to do. We make a whole day of it typically where we leave early and get to the museum when they open. We explore space, dinos, ancient tombs, glass sculptures and a cool in door carousel. The kids run around the whole museum and are exhausted by the end!

On warmer days, they have an entire outdoor sports area where you can try soccer, football, tennis and climb a really cool tree tower. Seriously the kids love every second of it!

After we finish at the museum, we always find somewhere cool to go out to eat in the area and maybe grab ice cream before heading home. If you are looking for a little bit of fun, go check it out!
