Father’s Day Gift Guide 2023
Father’s Day is this upcoming weekend and first off I’d love to wish all of the amazing dad’s out there a Happy Father’s Day. I hope that you spend the day doing the things that give you joy.
While Albert and I are don’t exchange many gifts, we do recognize the value in teaching our littles to give to others on special days. So this year, I started a little earlier in my planning and bought things with a bit more intention. I’ve been on a kick to live a simpler and more minimalist life, so I am putting more value into things that I truly think will give joy and be used. (On a side note, let me tell you that getting rid of items, toys, clothes, dishes you haven’t used in 10 years, and more is so freeing… it is amazing the “weight” we carry in the things we own.
With all of this being said, I’ve compiled a list of some items that I bought Albert this year (hoping he doesn’t read this weeks email blast after I tell him not to), as well as some of his favorite items that he wears every day.
Coffee Mug - I saw this on an advertisement and loved it. I was able to personalize it for my three kiddos. One Iron Man, One Black Panther and One Wonder Woman on the mug with a Batman for a dad. My boys dress as their two favorite super hero’s every day, so this was perfect, and it’s a long term memory serve for my husband and I, as I know this stage too will pass and it’s one I don’t want to forget.
The Daily Dad - I saw this and thought it was a sweet gift. Albert has been reading much more these days and I thought that this simple book could be a part of his morning routine. Hopefully he likes it. If you have read it shoot me a message and let me know your thoughts!
Fair Harbor Swim Trunks - So I’ve been told these are amazing. My husband and oldest son already have these and they love them for swimming. They have built in shorts in them to make the trunks much more comfortable.
Vuori Joggers - Truth be told, my household loves this brand. The joggers are simply just comfortable and they hold up well with lots and lots of washes. We live in these in the colder days around the house.
Audible Subscription - If you are someone that lives in the car a lot or likes a good listen to a book, the Audible subscription is nice! We share an account in my house, so if I have extra credits, we both can download something. We tend to listen while cooking, mowing the lawn, sitting outside watching the kids and of course, given both of our jobs, we are in the car a ton which is where we listen the most!
All Birds Shoes - We both love these shoes in my house. They are super comfortable. We’ll be taking them on our vacation to Montana and Yellowstone in the weeks to come and except them to get us through the hikes that we will be doing.
Bridgestone Golf Balls - Buy local with J&M Golf. They have an amazing selection of Golf Ball and other golf gear!
