When Does It Feel Like Home?

It's something that we all love, even when it's driving us nuts.

Something that isn't talked about much is how long it takes for a HOME to truly feel like HOME after you purchase. I can't put excat words into it for how long it takes, but coming from the REALTOR that just moved in May, I'm not quite there yet with my new home. Sure, it's where we go to sleep and I've been continuing to do the updates that we started to it, but I don't feel relaxed and truly at home quite yet. It sounds weird, but maybe during the first sickness this fall, when I get to snuggle my babies on the couch and watch movies it may. Maybe it'll take longer than that. The thing is that I 100% know eventually it does truly feel like home. Eventually it's yours and you won't remember this feeling much anymore, so embrace the journey along the way.
